New Sounds for the Internal Sound Engine
The internal sound pallet has been expanded to include several types of sonically rich synthesis techniques. These include: a dynamic new wind model, a timbre morpher, and a pitch shifter.

Fully Integrated Editor Program
The Continuum Editor, the computer based configuration program, has been updated extensively, allowing for easy access to all of the Continuum’s parameters. More details can be found in the press release.

Multi Dimensional Control Voltage Generation
Programmability of the Continuum’s control voltage output device (the Continuum Voltage Converter, or CVC) has been greatly enhanced. Each of the CVC’s 16 control voltage outputs can now have a user programmable formula. More details can be found in the press release.

Firmware version 4 continues to extend the expressive possibilities of the Continuum Fingerboard, the unique musical instrument from Haken Audio. Major software additions in this release include expanded internal sounds, a fully integrated computer editor application, and an innovative control system for the Haken Audio Continuum Voltage Converter. Version 4 is the latest evolutionary step in the continuing progression of the Continuum Fingerboard's unprecedented expressive capabilities.
