| Firewire Continuum Support |
This file set release is for all Continuums with a FireWire port. New in this version is support for the Continuum Editor. It is recommended to download both the firmware file and the User's Guide. The Continuum Editor can be found on the main Downloads page.

Note: Certain controls in the Continuum Editor are specific to Continuums with built-in sound. These controls will have no effect with a FireWire Continuum.

Note: Mac OSX is required to perform this update. After this update is completed, your Continuum may be used with a Mac or PC.

Changes in this Firmware Release:

This firmware works with the Continuum Editor software running on a Mac or PC, if your Continuum is connected to the computer with a USB-MIDI interface. Since the Continuum Editor was designed for the Continuum Fingerboards with built-in sound, some of its options will have no meaning for Continuum Fingerboards with FireWire.

This firmware version supports the Symbolic Sound Pacarana, the Symbolic Sound Flame with AVC, and the Symbolic Sound Flame without AVC. Please check the new User Guide for Kyma specific configuration information.

The Merge+ and Ext+ options available from the config strip have changed.
|
|
MIDI controller assignments for pedals have changed.
|
|
MIDI NRPNS are no longer used for configuration.
