| Underneath the preset layer is a user programmable system, a sophisticated formula based mapping system that allows varying amounts from every finger on the Continuum Fingerboard playing surface to influence up to 16 discrete control voltage outputs. Using these programmable formulae one can generate very precise settings, making the need for external voltage processing modules unnecessary. Depending on the CVC setup, there is an independent formula for 4, 8, or 16 outputs. Each formula is a mathematical combination of Gate (G), left to right finger position (X), front to back finger position (Y) and finger pressure (Z). |
