Octavairum

In this musical example the Continuum is used for the lead lines. The sound source is the Roland V-Synth XT. From the artist:
I have the bend range set to 36 semitones. The X axis is mapped to pitch. The Y axis actually controls the depth and harmonics of the V-Synths feedback oscillator, while the z (pressure) is controlling Midi Expression. The instrument has an amazing setting that does rounding (pitch correction) not only on the attack of a note but even after my finger slides to another note. Magic....
I 've been inspired to create many lead type Continuum patches controlling the V-Synth. The Continuum Solo in Octavarium switches about half way into a lap steel solo (which I also played).
